I finally got my new camera...actaully it got here last friday but I hadn't had a chance to update everyone about it yet. Anyways I got a black Canon Digital Rebel XT, I only got the body though because my Canon lense I use currently for my Canon Elan 7e also fits on this, which is awesome other wise I wouldnt have been able to afford the camera...actaully I still cant really afford it, but its summer and im working almost 40 hours a week so i think i can swing it.
I also got a SanDisk 1GB Compact Flash card to go along with it.
Anyways if you havent noticed my two most recent photos i uploaded from the zoo were taken with my new camera and i must say im very impressed with the camera. It also pretty easy switching over from my 35mm to this because they are both canons and have a lot of the same features and setup.

back to work
play time is over now, back to the real world of work i go! anyways Vegas was an amazing trip, took some pictures but im not really happy with that many of them. I did win some money though playing Craps, that money and the first few paychecks I get I plan on puting towards a brand new Canon Rebel XT . . . a black one :headbang: . I plan on ordering it within the next couple of weeks, Ill keep you posted.
summer time
summer is almost here, i am finally done this thursday. hopefully i will get all my black & white prints back thursday after my photography final, so ill have to start scanning those and uploading here for everyone to take a look. some are pretty good, others arent that great, but it was a great experience and a fun class.
anyways...
so im done with finals on thursday and i fly to las vegas friday morning!! should be an awesome trip, hopefully ill get some great pictures

The guy above makes a great point; some lenses can mix and match but it has to be for a 35mm and the size, that circle with a cross is the only size that will fit the camera unless you find some sort of adapter ring- which I'm not too sure about myself.
